Masters student to represent department at World Business Dialogue conference
Emile du Plessis, a Masters student in the Economics Department has been invited to attend the 12th World Business Dialogue in Cologne, Germany. He was selected as one of 300 international students to participate in the World Business Dialogue. The Conference will take place from 1-2 April at the University of Cologne. The theme for this year is: "The Integrated Challenge, China Resources and Consumer Revolution - Linked Drivers Demand Innovation". To qualify for the Conference, students had to submit written work on the theme. The aim of the Conference is to advance dialogue on economic issues and to develop new perspectives. Prominent entrepreneurs, academics and students attend the Conference every year. Bill Gates was a previous participant.
