The Department of Economics is proud to host the annual Western Cape Economics Postgraduate Student Conference on the 18th of April 2012. During this conference, postgraduate students from the University of the Western Cape (UWC), the University of Cape Town (UCT) and the University of Stellenbosch (US) are given an opportunity to present their latest research to a wider audience. As usual, the topics are bound to generate interest, ranging from economic history, to trade liberalisation and informal employment in South Africa.

The programme and other information are available here.
