Posted by Johan Fourie on 2008-07-28

Entries for the annual Young Economist competition for Economics 144 students are  open for entries. The competition, with R15000 cash prizes up for grabs, is similar to the Economist of the Year competition, with students having to predict economic variables such as inflation, economic growth and the exchange rate.

The competition is sponsored by Die Burger and the Department of Economics.

If you are a 144 student, please view the Young Economist page under My Courses for rules and registration details.
